We run a full itinerary of Art Workshops throughout the year offering a variety of Workshops including painting, sketching, drawing and Palette Knife Painting. Dates: Friday 31th May 2019

About: An exciting new concept on the palette knife workshop. Limited to only six students as it's energetic composition with a twist. 
 
How it will work: Catherine has prepared the jigsaw, students will have a canvas each with a picture to paint. The resulting painting can be viewed as an individual composition or as part of the 'bigger picture'. Each students painting can be hung separately or together , or even just with another student who is sitting beside you .Trust, wait, paint and see......😉

'Abstract Art' 

Dates: Saturday 8th June 2019 
 
Time: 10:30pm to 4:00pm 
 
Cost: €80.00 
 
About: An energetic composition on colour and texture in oils or acrylics Introduced to the appreciation of abstract Art and understanding of it. 
 
How it will work: Students will compose there own subject matter into an original idea and piece of Art . 
 
Limited to 10 places only to ensure plenty of one on one tuition. 

'Palette Week' 

Dates: 10th to the 14th of June 2019 
 
Time: 10.30am to 4pm 
 
Cost: €250.00 
 
About: 4 New compositions for advanced students. 
 
Palette knife week workshop with four different subjects and great learning on how colour can work and a good understand of colour theory. This is more then a workshop about the use of the knife it's all about the introduction Alla prima painting all at once. Students will go home with a frame and one canvas included tea coffee facilities . 
 
Frames and Canvas included.

'Parisian Palette' 

Dates: Saturday 15th June 2019 
 
Time: 10:30pm to 4:00pm 
 
Cost: €80.00 
 
About: Working in oils with knife. 'Parissian Scene, inspired by the impresstionist movement. 
 
How it will work: A great day learning techniques and tips and colour producing a finished painting in a one day workshop.

'Palette Knife 3 Day Workshop' 

Dates: 8th to the 15th July 2019 
 
Time: 10:30pm to 4:00pm 
 
Cost: €200.00 
 
About: Palette knife workshop 3 day and 3 paintings on exciting compositions. 
 
How it will work: You will paint street scenes, and on the last day the student will choose, with the help of the teacher what painting to do..  
 
Suitable for the total beginner who would like to get started with the palette knife.

About: Painting Week on plein air in beautiful locations across North County Dublin. 
On Wednesday the 26th we visit the Art Studio of Robert Shaw in Donabate for an opportunity to see the artist demonstrate and talk about his work. 
 
On Friday we will return to the studio in Balgriffin to discuss and compose our work where I will critic the body of work and look at photos ,sketches and paintings of the weeks work. 
 
Suitable for all level of students to total beginners to advance students. 
All the workshops have limited places so ensure to book early. To confirm your place an any of our courses a 50% deposit is required.
